So it’s out with the old, and in with the new. Nothing changes around here though. We spent the last few hours of the old year, and the first of the new one with our friends, a tradition which has been in place for 10 years. I decided to ‘dress’ for the occasion so with my impulse purchase of a ‘boho’ black and grey skirt I teamed a revealing (well for me anyway) black, Monsoon top and the beautiful silver-grey, wool, long cardigan that eldest daughter had given me for Christmas. I discovered immediately that there was a major problem with my outfit, the wool cardigan sheds, really badly. The whole of the black top was bedecked with long grey fibres, I looked as if I had been in a close embrace with a white, long-haired creature. Already running late, we had to waste more time whilst Hubby ran a lint roller over me. I’ve done a search to find out how I can stop my lovely woolly from leaving evidence of itself all over me and I can only come up with two sensible suggestions; spray it with hairspray or have it dry-cleaned. There were a couple of ideas, put it in the freezer before you wear it, don’t wear anything else, which I have discarded as impractical, has anyone got any other suggestions?
