Staples out, with quite a lot of encouragement!

Son saw his G.P this morning who, after attempting to arrange an appointment for son’s post-op review, unsuccessfully, and realising that the surgery have not received any info from the hospital about the op or his treatment, advised him to write a letter of complaint to the surgical team. She then gave him a prescription for antibiotics and sent him to the practice nurse for the removal of the offending staples and a swab of his suppurating wound. Other than the pain from the infected wound, all is progressing well. Son is now more relaxed about the stoma functioning, he is certainly not appearing as distrustful of it. His appetite, and enjoyment of his food, is improving immensely so hopefully he will start to put on some weight soon.

DIL had her reflexology this evening, we’ll see! Repeat stretch and sweep tomorrow morning. Induction of labour booked for Thursday morning, could this be a halloween baby? Any suggestions for relevant names?
