I know I haven’t commented in a year but I will now because that cake is gorgeous. I thought you couldn’t decorate cakes well but that is amazing…well done Grandma.

Everyone – I cheated because I didn’t make the actual cake, I bought it. I did the decoration, which I think looks more impressive than it actually is because of it’s simplicity. The figures were made out of white fondant icing and it was ‘interesting’ trying to get a flesh colour from the four basic food colourants, red, yellow, green and blue it took ages. Amy loved it, and that’s what was important.
