A Midwife’s Muse

I am so excited, I am actually going out. A ‘proper’ going out, socialising with people, in a public place. One of my work colleagues phoned today and asked if I was up to going for a meal with them all tomorrow. I was so happy that I must have said ‘thank you’ at least 5 times. It has been 4 weeks since I was a normal human being, well normal for me, and I am going stir-crazy. My car is sitting there on the drive, I keep looking at it and wondering how much longer it will be before I can sit in the drivers seat and go somewhere I want to go, when I want to and for ever long I want to be there for. Frustrating ++++
